Bio

Uddhav Jain is a Computer Science major at Drexel University with a keen interest in Environmental Science, Oceanography, and Astronomy. As an international student from India, he is passionate about using his technical skills to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on the world.

His mission is to combine his expertise in Computer Science with his passion for Environmental Science, Oceanography, and Astronomy to develop innovative solutions that optimize and enhance functions in different fields. Uddhav is particularly interested in exploring the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to solve future energy problems and contribute to sustainability efforts. He aspires to learn and apply cutting-edge technologies to tackle complex challenges and make a meaningful impact on society.

When Uddhav is not coding, he indulges in his passions – astronomy, oceanography, and environmental conservation. He loves stargazing, identifying marine life, and participating in beach cleanups. As an active member of Drexel CyberDragons, he challenges his technical skills in cybersecurity. He is also a sports enthusiast, enjoys working out and swimming, and binge-watching movies at night. With a blend of expertise, passion, and humor, Uddhav strives to bring a unique perspective to everything he does, making a positive impact.

He is currently working on an exciting project called TradeEase, where his team and he are developing an algorithm to automate trading for traders. Starting from scratch and learning Pinescript on the TradingView platform has been a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Uddhav is also proud of a recent project he created called RandomConnect for PhillyCodefest 2023, which aims to foster inclusivity and diversity on campus by bringing people closer together through random prompts and situations.
